KOREAN TASTE TOUR

This is a 2-hour lunch walking food tour that stops at 7 places. We’ll show you the real Korea as we seek out classic shops, street stalls, and restaurants while learning about the history and food culture of Korea. The tour starts with a cooking demonstration and tasting of Korean savory pancakes at O’ngo Culinary School. We then journey through the historic Jongno area to have a small bite at each place before dashing off to the next place. The full tour option includes a full-course Korean BBQ lunch (22 USD extra) This tour starts at 11am daily and 4pm daily (minimum 3 people. private options for less than 3).

KOREAN NIGHT DINING TOUR

Our Night Dining Tour gets you feeling like a local as you’ll visit famous restaurants that specialize in Korean barbecue, rice beer, and we’ll visit the famous, traditional Kwangjang market which is famous for their crispy mung bean pancakes. Our fun and knowledgable guides will give you insights into Korean culture and teach you eating and drinking customs and even teach you fun Korean phrases and drinking games. It is a night of great food, friends, and drinks you’ll never forget. This walking tour will take you to 4 different places with different food and alcohol at each stop. This tour starts at 6pm and lasts for 3 1/2 hours. There are non-alcohol options and the restaurants are kid friendly.

TOP-GRADE KOREAN BEEF DINNER AND TRADITIONAL MARKET TOUR

This is a 3-hour dinner food tour that that will take you to visit a traditional Korean food market that looks like it has been frozen in time. You’ll see an exciting traditional medicine market with an area focused on just ginseng. Afterwards, we’ll head to the into the exciting and traditional meat market where you’ll see top quality beef being fabricated. After the tour, we’ll pick out top grade A++ Hanwoo beef (that some say is more flavorful than kobe beef) and then we’ll barbecue this at a restaurant in the market. We’ll enjoy lots of barbecue beef with Korean alcohol and beer. After dinner, our guide will take you to Dongdaemun market so you can shop for fashionable clothes on your own.

KOREAN FISH MARKET TOUR

Here you’ll see the everyday life at the largest wholesale and commercial fish market in Seoul. After the tour, we’ll get to pick out our lunch from the tanks and have it prepared for us. Please wear comfortable clothes. Sandals and open toed shoes are not recommended. This tour starts at 10am and on Wednesdays and Fridays at 5pm and lasts about 2 1/2 hours.

We’ll tour the fish market and then pick out fresh seafood for our lunch. Lunch is usually: Rockfish sashimi, live octopus, grilled fish, fish stew, and rice. We wash this all down with beer, tea or soju.
  • Tours start at 10am from Noryangjin Station (Line 1) Exit 1 on Monday and Wednesdays and by appointment on other days and times.

  • Our city tours start from your hotel and we’ll visit several different areas of Seoul. A typical tour will start with a visit to a traditional market, a famous Korean temple, a Korean traditional house village, art galleries and a visit to young art district.
  • Our tours are customizable so you can make requests and we can adjust the tour on the fly.
  • Times are very flexible. Tours have been done as early as 5am to as late as 10pm.
  • Tours last 5-6 hours and includes all transport, admissions, lunch and snacks on the way (we like to try street foods). Coffee or Tea is not included. For people more than 3 there is a charge of $50 USD per person to cover lunch, transport and admissions.
  • Extra charges may be added depending on customer requests and for over-time charges  ($25 USD an hour extra for over 8 hours).

BIZARRE FOODS KOREA TOUR

This tour takes you on all the great spots seen in the popular tv show, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. You might even recognize Daniel Gray, who was featured on the Korea episode. On this full-day tour our driver/guide will come pick you up from your hotel in Seoul and you’ll travel to the southern countryside of Korea to visit a Artisan O’nngi Factory where you’ll see the clay kimchi pots made in the traditional way. Then we’ll visit a Gochujang and Chili Paste Farm to see the products and then have a gourmet lunch made from artisanal soy sauces, bean pastes, and tofu. We’ll tour the countryside and take a walk up a small mountain and then spend the afternoon relaxing at a charcoal barbecue sauna where we’ll sweat the stress away and then eat delicious pork barbecue and ribs outside. It’s one of the most unique experiences you can have in Korea.
